La tomaia e la vaschetta sono cucite assieme con cura con un tipo speciale di cucitura chiamata "a coda di topo", che risulta in un piccolo e discreto rilievo, mentre la classica mascherina con la tradizionale decorazione a triangolo è finemente cucita sul fianco della tomaia. La particolare suola, ripresa dagli archivi Sebago, gli dona un valore storico: in schiuma di gomma, è morbida, leggera, pieghevole e resistente all'acqua, combinando trazione e stabilità.
